Spring Greetings - The Bunny Banner

April 8, 2020

Well Hello There!  Thank you for checking out this quick + easy project idea. It will certainly add some cuteness to your mantle. During these tough times, I have found that crafting has helped get me through these long days stuck at home. Spring is such a beautiful season and if there is anything we can learn from this time of year, is that there is hope in the new life that will blossom from the storms. I hope you find some comfort in this project and gain some hope for the days to come. This project is super easy and doesn't require a whole lot of materials.  Most of these items you could probably find in your home right now! Enjoy!

What you will need:

  • Card Stock - ( I only used 2 sheets for the size I created , I got 12 - 5" bunnies from the two sheets; any colors)

  • Glue Gun or Elmers Glue  - (I used a glue gun but regular Elmer's Glue will do the job.)

  • Cutting Machine or Scissors - (I used a Cricut with the PNG Template I've provided below)

  • Ribbon or String: (I used some Jute Rope I had laying around.)

  • Hole Punch: ( I used 1/8" punch;  you don't want the hole too big)

  • Printables/Templates: (click here for template bundle)

Now for the fun stuff!

Step 1: If you are cutting by hand, Print out the PDF printables in the size desired.  If you are using a cutting machine, Save the PNG to your computer and upload to your design space. Load the paper and proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Cut out the bunnies and tails, whether by hand or cutting machine. (Images below are done by a cutting machine)

Step 3: Punch holes in the bunny ears.

Step 4:  Glue the Tails to the bunnies (Bonus tip: Another cute option is to use mini cotton balls for the tails.)

Step 5: Thread the bunny holes with rope or string .

Step 6: Hang up and Enjoy!

Thank you again for visiting my page and I hope you have a wonderful Easter!
